Good-Bye

I am terrible at saying good-bye. I dont know why I hate the leave taking process so much. The big good-byes are definately the worst...you know, the ones where you will probably never see a person who's been your friend again for a long time. What do you say in those moments? "See you later!" seems so shallow because you know that you probably wont. "Been nice know you" sounds like you're at the end of a really bad break up. "I'll miss you." never seems like enough. I guess I take the coward's way out most of the time. In the moment, I prefer just walking out the door unnoticed. But I always regret the openendedness afterwards...Last Sunday was our final day in the Menlo Park Ward and I feel like we sneaked out. If any of you out there read this and are feeling like we cheated you in the good-bye department, I hope you feel better knowing its becasue I'm alergic to the whole process and we plan to be back. We're ony 15 minutes away (ok...20...) so I hope you'll be down for a visit now and again.
